Cattle

Our cattle are a blend of Limousin and Black Angus breeds called Lim-Flex, known for calving ease, feed efficiency, muscling, marbling, and superior yield grades. See https://nalf.org

Our bulls come from Coleman Limousin Ranch in Charlo Montana. We select our sires for low birth weights and high first year gains. We have never been disappointed. See https://colemanlimousinranch.com/

As of April 2022, we have many nice heifers for sale (600-800#) . Come pick a winner! Current winter batch 2021-2022 has had highest quality grasses only, no grains. They will make excellent replacement heifers for your herd or 4H project. 

As of April 2022 with feed costs rising, we are thinning our herd . We have some nice mommas that are available for sale with or without calves.   

We treat our animals with care and respect. We move them slowly and try to avoid shouting, prodding, or scaring of any kind. If an animal becomes wild or unruly, we get rid of them. As a result, our herd is gentler than most.    

Sometimes, we get twins! And usually its easiest on mom to take one calf off. So don't be afraid to ask us about replacement calves. As of April 2022 we are currently +1 and anticipating zero fatalities for the season.
